Health Guarantee

1-Year Health Guarantee

At Tiny Paws, we are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of your puppy. We offer a 1-Year Health Guarantee covering:

  • Heart Defects: Severity scale of 4 or above.
  • Congenital Organ Dysfunction: Resulting in death.
  • Life-Threatening Congenital Defects: That result in the death of your puppy.

If your puppy develops any untreatable, life-threatening congenital defect or passes away due to a heart, organ, or genetic issue, you must:

  1. Provide the initial veterinary exams and documentation.
  2. Submit a photo of the deceased puppy.

We will replace your puppy with one of the same breed, sex, and quality as the original. Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Claim Requirements

To make a claim:

  • Submit all initial vet exams indicating the cause of death was congenital, not due to owner negligence, within 48 hours of diagnosis.
  • The vet report/autopsy must confirm the defect was 100% congenital.

Documentation Review: All documents will be reviewed by our veterinarian for confirmation. Claims and supporting documents must be submitted within the 1-year guarantee period.

Your puppy will receive:

  • Core vaccinations (including rabies).
  • Internal and external parasite treatment.
  • Optional vaccines, such as Kennel Cough, before travel.

Note: Hydrocephalus is only covered if accompanied by seizure disorders.

  • Environmental issues, including parasites/worms that may reappear.
  • Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) due to improper feeding.
  • Naturally occurring changes in eye color, coat color, or size.

We recommend proper care and feeding to maintain your puppy’s health and well-being.

Veterinary Bills

We cover up to $300 in vet bills during the first 72 hours after arrival.
This applies only to treatment and excludes:

  • Examination fees
  • X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, or bloodwork
Proof of payment must be submitted, and reimbursement may take up to 6 weeks. Additional documentation may be required.

Contractual Agreement

The health guarantee is valid only if:

  • The contract is signed via e-signature before receiving your puppy.
  • All claims and documentation are submitted within the required timelines.

If the contract is unsigned, forfeited, or expired, the guarantee is void.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my puppy live?

Our puppies are bred by reputable breeders, not from puppy mills or farms. With proper care and a healthy environment, their lifespan will match that of other dogs in the same breed.

Will my puppy grow in size?

Yes. Puppies are living animals and not toys. While we estimate their size based on their parents and grandparents, their size and weight can vary due to diet, exercise, and other factors.

What should I know about vet estimates?

Our puppies are smaller than typical breeds and may grow at a slower rate.

  • Delayed growth in teeth, testicles descending, or heat cycles is common.
  • Local vets may estimate them to be younger than they are based on their size.

All our puppies are monitored closely for health and must pass a vet check before travel. Puppies are typically around 4 months old by the time they arrive at their new home.
